Dear friends,

I am Raju, working with Human Rights Law Network. We are
working on various Human Rights issues across India. I am working for
disability rights. We are working on various issues across disability.
Presently, we are working on government web site’s accessibility for
the blind. As per the 2009 guidelines of the government, all web sites
should be user friendly and they have to comply with W3C rules like,
it should be screen reader compatible, magnifications, Font size,
riginal Language, shortcut commands to use a key board without a mouse,
brightness and colours which causes a difficulty to use Web Sites for
different users. These Web Sites are very essential to get the
information therefore; these Web Sites should be user friendly as per
the user’s need. We did a research of 50 Indian Government websites
but only 2 or 3 Web Sites are compliance with W3C rules. We are going
to file a PIL on this issue so I would like to know your user
experience to support our case. I would like to know the following
things from you –
1) Your Full Name
2) Contact Number
3) Email ID
4) Your Disability
5) what Difficulties you facing while surfing the Web Site while
using Screen Reader,
Magnifier, Key Board and Mouse
6) Difficult Government and Public web sites
7) Your Suggestions and Recommendations.

Please send your response on [email protected].
Will be waiting for a Quick response.
