Hi all, The Android platform has 2 free screen reading applications namely talkBack and Spiel. There is now also a free virtual keyboard. Code Factory's offering is not only a screen reader but also a suite of productivity applications. In terms of what you need in an Android phone, you need a physical navigation control. You no longer need a phone with a physical keyboard though I have heard that typing is faster with a physical keyboard. However, i am not sure about it's overall functionality, although there are many aps made accsessible to the blind and VI community including gps navigation.
