Even I have done this foolish thing though not willingly. my phone needed
to
be formatted and after this formatting, it asked for the firmware update
and
I didn't know about the newest update and updated it. I am facing all
these
problems as described by Mobedji, and now thinking a way of downgrading to
the previous one. Because, I don't think there is a possibility of new
release from nuance in the next two three months.
If Saksham or anybody else have any idea about possibility of new release
of
Talks in the near future, I would welcome it and will postphone my idea of
downgrading the firmware.

Recently nokia has released a firmware update for nokia C5, version 7.1..
You are strongly recommended not to update your phone as of now. There are
some known issues with this upgrade and talks.
In case you update your web brouzer and e-mail client will not work with
talks.
You are advised to wait for Newans to release the next version for talks,
and than update your phone after that.
