It was more simpler for me, as they had set up within our society office itself.
And had to tick on the have physical disability option & nothing extra was seeked from me, when compared with my family members. They didnt even accept the disability certificate from me, nor they were aware about it. Only 1 thing they told, that if they cannot take the picture of my iris, then a special team will come to approve the form, but that wasnt required, as they succeeded in clicking the iris picture. My turn came at about 4 p.m. The lady told me as they had to make an exception for me because aires picture could not be taken in my case, this could be done by the supervisor and he was not arround. I insisted that I was not going to come again and they fetch him. He was called and he reached there soon. They also told me that I need not have gone through the queue. There was no such privelege for the elderly. These are the following processes involved 1 Finger prints of left 4 fingers except the thumb. 2 Finger prints of right 4 fingers except the thumb. 3 Finger prints of 2 thumbs together. The remain 3 steps were not done for me. 1 Left aires photo 2 right aires photo 3 Both the eye photo together. Finally a picture of the face. They were debating if they had to take my photo with goggles on or off, finally they asked me to take it off. At last, they gave me an acknowledge printout, which had all the details and my photo on it. Now comming to documentations: 1 ID Proof, I gave copy of my Pan card 2 Residence proof, I gave a copy of my electricity bill. For children, Copy of mothers acknowledge receipt along with submitted documents. These should as many sets as minor children. I was told each of us would get a seperate card like a PAN card. I am aware, there is no thing like a PAN card that is going to be issued, and I shall get a unique number.Nevertheless, I am sharing what was conveyed. So, happy UI experience. Harish Kotian.
