Hi I intend to buy a scanner soon. I need to scan a lot of books and would therefore prefer a scanner wwith speed and accuracy. Presently I use a Canon scanner which takes nearly 26 seconds to scan one page. This consumes a lot of my time and so the need is for a scanner which takes say 10-15 seconds to scan a page. Would it be better to have a document scanner instead to be able to scan pages faster? For conversion I use Open Book 9. Can anyone suggest models with specifications? My budget is around 10-15 thousand. I cannot afford the Pearl, but is it true that devices with cameras are better in terms of accuracy than flat bed scanners? Thanks, Moiz.
