Hello,
Just like your situation, even I have faced the same problem several
times. So while looking for the solution, I have noticed that in the
location where I was working on these files and if fue to any reason I
was not able to save the files and after computer restarted there
were some files starting with the symbol ~ and followed by the name
and extension tmv so figuring out by the names of these files I have
changed the extension from tmv to my desired files extensions such as
.doc or .xls. after renameing these files I could successfully get the
data on wich I was working. I do not know whether this trick work
every time or not. But it did work for me several times. Do not know
much about it technically so our learned members can guide you much
better.
