If my memory is correct, I-phone in India is restricted to very few celephone providers. Certainly airtel and perhaps vodefone. One could make I-phone 3GS to work in India by unlocking it, but that's not possible with I 4. So your choices of using I-phone in India at the moment is very limited to a few selected providers.
