Hi All,
Here, after long time I am sharing my views on any issue.
I would like to inform you that Now, I am successfully using the "Using 2-step verification" for avoiding misuse of my Email ID, as I found on 20th June 2011 that an unwanted Email has been sent to my all google contacts of my Gmail ID: [email protected].

After that incident, I have started to use the "Using 2-step verification" in which a verrification code comes in desired Mobile# in text or Voice message during login process.
So, here is good option for you for avoiding any misuse of your Email ID.

Regards,
RAKESH KUMAR GUPTA.

Subject: [AI] Attention: Do not give others' email addresses for invitingthem on to the new website you have joined.

Dear Members,
This is to draw your kind attention towards a problem (specially newcomers). Whenever you sign up on a website, generally as a last step, they ask you to give others’ email address to them, so that they can send invites to those people to whom you have referred. And our good members, for the advantage of others, fill all the email addresses which they have in their contacts thinking that they are helping us. Sometimes, they even give their username and password of their email accounts, so that the website can fetch the contacts from it.
I sincerely advise you to skip this step for the sake of our convenience.
Firstly, there are chances that your email account’s information which you have given on any website out of good faith, might be misused by that website or the hackers group, which is always keeping its eye and ears open for such information. I know you might not be happy with this reason as you would not want to accept this fact that such thing can happen. Now as I said for ‘our convenience’, if you give the email addresses like this, then knowingly or unknowingly our inbox is flooded with these stupid invites and with subjects like ‘hi’, which we believe has originated from a genuine person. So kindly do not make it a practice of giving email address of others without their consent. We need to understand that today email address is a thing which has gained the reputation of private information belonging to any user, as in older days it was your mobile number. So the user should have all rights to insure that with whom he wants to communicate or not. Secondly, with all good motives we are here to help each other. And if the problems like that of spamming (in recent days), and the problem on which I am focusing for now occur, then at the end we will see the results which none of us would have ever thought off. I might have sounded rude, but that is not what I wanted to do. I want each and everyone of us to understand the problem and work towards a strong solution to keep the list maintained.
I seek for each and everybody’s co-operation.
Regards
Amar Jain.
