I could search the appropriate letter with sighted help. but, i could not
locate letters with the help of jaws. is it system specific problem or may i
am not choosing right option?

Some of the commonly used symbols/scientific notations like alfa,
beta, gama, delta, nu, permitivity, permeability etc. are available
under the symbols options that you can find under the insert menu.
