The Karnataka Welfare Association for the Blind (KWAB) is organising a
two-day career guidance programme for the visually impaired students
on Friday and Saturday.

Speaking to presspersons here on Tuesday, KWAB general secretary S.
Parashivamurthy said not many visually impaired students were aware of
what to pursue after SSLC and PU examinations.

At the programme, the visually impaired students will be taught how to
communicate to stay on a par with other candidates.

Mr. Parashivamurthy said several organisations had come forward to
help such students. The two-day programme, being organised by KWAB in
association with Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development
Corporation, will be held at the KEB Engineers Association Hall, near
Anand Rao Circle, Race Course Road.
