Posting season's greetings, response to congratulatory mails etc were some of them. The reason for this restriction is rather simple. We already have high traffic on the list and we are close to 2,000 members. If each one decides to send a greeting message, the result, you can imagine will be unpalletable and instead of good wishes, it will turn into a curse. This restriction is of course not to hurt anyone's sentiments and is applied across the board. Harish Kotian Moderator.
