dear friends, this kind of suggestions are welcome. if any one brakes the
rules of mailing list, please send warning, suggestion, arguement etc
directly to the concerned persons inbox, not to the list. 1 person sending
greetings 10 persons sending comments under the same subject, that is also
making trafic jam in the list.
with best regards

Subject: [AI] Suggestion Regarding Seasonal Greetings
Hi friends
despite appeals by our moderator several times many of us post
seasonal/festival greetings to the Access India. I think they do so to
express their good feelings and emotions towards the list
members/friends. However this causes intense traffic on the list. When i
reminded a friend who is perhaps a new comer about the rule, one of our
friends was annoyed by my act. I suggest the following solutions to
overcome this problem permanently.
Post the greetings to the personal E mail IDs of the list members. This
will take a lot of time and effort. What to do then?
If you are using an e mail client like outlook express, create a new
folder in the same and create rule using which you can receive the mails
from Access India to that particular folder. Create a separate group of
your contacts which contains the A. I. friends. Of course not
[email protected]. but only the list members. You can post
the greetings and other useful mails which are considered as "off topic"
in this list. By creating the rule as mentioned above we can access both
the A. I. mails and other mails separately and easily. By adding A. I.
friends' contacts in a group will reduce our time and effort to post
greetings and other useful mails of the topics other than those can be
posted to Access India.
I am sure your greetings will be replied positively by all including me
instead of being opposed.
I request our experts to suggest the alternative for those who are not
using any e mail client and are directly accessing their mails from the
server.
I hope that this time my suggestion will be taken positively.
