I think, mobility options, without to much of dependence on others are available these days. Thanks to the technology. I agree, they are expensive, but we shall have to pay that in order that we buy our independence. As far as your question on people giving wrong information on station, I think, over the period of time, you would know, how much time does the train take to reach your destination normally. Please take out your white cane before getting down the train, especially when you are not sure whether the station has arived or not and that of the side of the platform.
