Hello friends, inspired by some Pakistani friends, some of my Indian V I friends are also planning to start a new internet radio channel of their own. They want to run this channel on a purely non comercial basis, and hence do not plan to include any advertisements or political news in their brodcasts. They simply wish to run it in order to gain first hand experience in the field of internet brodcasting. Apparently, the main focus of their brodcasts would be Music of various types. But they want to know whether there are still any legal implications for this purpose? I mean, do they still have to take some prior permission from the government? Please clarify.Regards. Yogesh.
