Subject: [AI] Plustek Optic Book 3800- a faster and relatively cheap
scanning option

Hi
I have recently been using Plustek's Optic Book 3800 scanner and am pretty
happy with the results. The scanning time is around 7 seconds and in one
minute you can have about 4 pages scanned (taking into account time to turn
pages over and for the scanner to get ready for the next scan). Another good
feature is the possibility of scanning books which do not open flat
properly. As far as I know it is not available in India yet. So anyone
interested will have to get it shipped from a distant land. The price on the
internet is around 300 dollars.
Moiz.
