Hi friends,
I am Umesha S. E. a new member to the list and new friend of yours. as it is
suggested that the new members to the list are to give a brief introduction, I
introduce myself as follows:
I am a partially (75%) visually challenged person from Karnataka aged 28.
I was born in a village near Arsikere a town in the district of Hassan. I
got my school education in general schools in my village, got my college
education in Hoysaleshwara college at Arsikere and qualified in M.A. in
Economics in the year 2008 with 2nd Rank from the University of Mysore. In
December 2008 exam, I qualified UGC NET along with JRF. So in October 2009 I
joined the same University department at Manasagangotri as Junior Research
Fellow for my Ph.D. studies. in January 2010, I got the Krishnakumari Varma
National Award from AICB Delhi. Since May 2010, I am working as Assistant
Professor of Economics in Tumkur University situated in Tumkur, 75 Kms away
from Bangalore.
My areas of interest are mathematical economics and econometrics. Apart
from economics, I am interested in other subjects like mathematics, physics,
chemistry etc. some times its my hobby to solve tricky mathematical problems. I
am interested in listening music and its my regular hobby.
Though I joined the list 2 months ago, I was unable to post message due to
some technical problems. in these days, now and then I was watching many
discussions going on the list which are very much useful for visually impaired
community. So I thank the moderators for giving me the opportunity of being a
member of this list. Hope I have not crossed the patience limit of the fellow
members.
