Hi,

I'm Vijay Kumar from Andhra Pradesh. In my state absolutely no problem in implementing the reservations for physically challenged. I'm also hundred percent blind and working as government primary teacher.

With warm regards

VIJAY

Hello,

About two years back about 50,000 primary teachers were recruited in West
Bengal. there was no post reserved for VI candidates in the initial
advertisement. After protest reservation was granted. But in most cases,
candidates with 100% visual handicap were denied appointment. Either their
results were withheld or they were somehow disqualified. There are still a
number of litigations pending in the Kolkata High Court. At least one candidate
with 100% visual handicap has got his appointment by virtue of court order.

We are planning to launch a massive movement. What is the situation in other
states? Are there 100% VI teachers at primary schools?

With best regards,
