Let me make it a little more clear. The "Mute during a call" option is under the "Advanced" tabsheet of Talks. If you have Talks displaying the Magnification tabsheet, then press RIGHT ARROW thrice to reach the Advanced tabsheet. If not, then press RIGHT ARROW twice to reach the Advanced tabsheet. I don't remember if the option is present in version 4, you may check for it.
