Dear Colleagues,
Here is a good news for you. Kindly spare some time and read it.
Dear All,

It is a pleasure to inform you that, in keeping with its commitment to
empower visually impaired women through various means (information
dissemination being one of them), All India Confederation of the Blind
(AICB) will start publishing in Braille three mainstream magazines in
five regional languages from January, 2012. These magazines are:

Grih Shobha in Hindi, Gujarati and Kanada,

Charchaugi in Marathi,

Mangayar Malar in Tamil.

The first Braille editions of these magazines will be released on 4th
January, 2012. The annual subscription for each of these magazines is
Rs.120, that is only rupee 10 per month. It is expected that hundreds
of visually impaired women will benefit from these highly subsidized
Braille editions of mainstream magazines.

We shall appreciate if you could circulate this information widely.
The subscriptions can be sent in the form of cheque, demand draft or
money order to:

Secretary General,

All India Confederation of the Blind,

Braille Bhawan, Sector 5, Rohini,

Delhi - 110085.

Please indicate the name of the magazine/magazines for which
subscription is sent. For further details please contact telephone
011-27054082.

With Kind Regards

J. L. Kaul
Secretary General
AICB
