Mukesh is it External or Internal Hard Drive you are asking about? if External there should not be a problem unless it compulsorily requires USB 3 Standard. if you want to upgrade existing internal one, i wont recommend more than 1 TB as it slow down your Laptop along with draining your battery resources and that too depends on the limitations of your System and OS
