Mukesh, I have an old opticbook 3600 scanner from Plustek. It is a flatbed and works nicely. The k1k, Openbook and Fine Reader work with this scanner that is, it is TWAIN and VIA compatible. The drivers can handle windows 7 64bit nicely. I believe windows 7 recognises the scanner by default.
There are newer models around so take a look. My scanner is a book edge scanner that is the glass of the scanner runs until its edge. The scanner is not portable since it is quite big. There are however camera scanning appliances that are. Your best bet is to explore the Plustek website for portable models if you need them.
