from some days, I’ve been getting so many calls and emails from
people asking about android phones and their accessibility for blind
persons.
Although we have had some great presentations and documents shared by
prashant sir, kiran sir and other eminent people, but there still are
many doubts, confusions and missconceptions about android phones
amongst us, which are required to be clarified.
Moreover, its relatively a new technology, and possibilities are,
that some people do not still know enough about what it is and other
rellevent information.
Since i’m finding myself somewhat less occupied in coming few
weekends, I’m thinking to share my observations and findings about
android phones with my mates in blind community, especially you all on
this list.
I’m thinking to do a live audio webcast where I can demonstrate the
working of android phone, discuss some of the most important features,
and allow all to participate live with their questions, comments and
feedback.
Do you think there’s a need of such a webcast if I plan to do one?
Thoughts invited, kindly respond soon as possible with your
suggestions so that it can be planned if you folks believe it should
be.
