how about emails? it's saying just browser instead of reading the emails
which has arrived.

I've been using E71 for last 1 and half years and found no problem in
reading the mails just like a normal message, the only thing that you need
to ensure is that your cursor mode is set to either letters or word as the
case maybe, instead of original. Key echo has nothing to do with the
incoming messages.
