Dear AI friends,

This is letter-cum-plea from "Radhaswami Institute for the Visually
Handicapped AGRA (U.P.)" to ask your valuable support and cooperation
in fulfilling its aim to rehabilitate needy visually impaired persons.

Radhaswami institute for the visually handicapped is a charitable
organization professionally manage by a committed social workers having

education, accessibility, training, research, employment, networking,

in spite of U.P., being location in north India, the attention towards
rehabilitation of visually impaired persons is pathetic. There is no

of
visually challenged persons.

Keeping in view:
1. The poor economic condition of the people,
2. Absolute absence of such training facilities and subsequent lack of
interest in such programs,
the entire cost would be borne by the organization.

Keeping in view the limited finance resources and inadequate
government support, Radhaswami Institute for the Visually Handicapped
planned to rehabilitate life of needy visually impaired persons in a
phase manner.

In future, RIVH has plan to impart training of computer, shorthan,
preparation and distribution of digital books, prepare visually
impaired persons for competitive exams, etc. ,

starting training cum self employment scheme for adult (unskilled and
semi skilled) blind persons.

b. indigenous production of paper bowls and plates and their supply to market
c. manufacturing of candles and its supply to market

This training cum employment programme aims to give unskilled and semi
skilled adult blind persons to earn their livings and would improve
their entrepreneurial ability.

After careful scrutiney and research, RIVH estimated approximate
expenditure of Rs. 2,00,000 to start this training cum employment
programme.

This expenditure includes,:
a. cost of paper plate and bowl machines
b. Dyes to make paper plates and bowls
c. Dyes to make wax candles
d. Raw material to make paper bowls and plates
e. cost of installation of machineries

You all are requested to support RIVH in starting aforesaid training
