Do the following: 1. Open messaging and mailbox. If no e-mail has been created, then it will show as "mailbox new". That's the case with N97 and I believe that it's same with E63.
2. If you are asked whether nokia exchange or e-mail, select option two. Again it may not happen with E63. 3. Select the "existing e-mail account" option and hit ok. 4. Type your e-mail address. Note that the @ sign is there by default you should either type around it or remove it and type the address fresh. 5. Type the password. 6. While being asked to specify the server option, select imap. 7. After completing these steps, hit okay and you will be positioned on the e-mail folder. While being asked: "connect to mail?" hit know. 8. Press option and go to e-mail settings. Make sure that the following fields are correct: A. Incoming server: pop.gmail.com. B. Outgoing server: imap.gmail.com. C. Specify your default internet connection. D. Security: SSL/TLS. E. Leave the port by default. 9. If you want your name to appear on the from field instead of the e-mail address, then go to user settings and type your name. There you can also type-in your signature.
