Madam,
before arranging, the names must be in a list or table column. following are
the steps:
1. Select the list or table you want to sort.
2. On the Table menu, click Sort.
3. Select the sort options you want and hit enter.
the above applies to MS word 97 to 2003. refer to Microsoft word help for
more details.
