Dear friends,
few months ago, I was discussing about scanning our textbooks using a digital
camera. as a part of that experiment, I have one problem for which I seek your
advice. it's as follows:

the kesi virtual printer does not properly convert colour and grayscale images
into monochrome images while printing. so I need a program to convert colour
and grayscale images taken from a camera into single-bit monochrome (black and
white) images before feeding them into kesi printer. if any of you know of any
such program, kindly let me know. additionally it is desirable to have the
following features
1. variable threshold: the threshold value for converting gray pixels into
either black or white should be able to be varied by the user.
2. batch processing: it should be able to convert multiple images stored in a
folder all at once.

thanks
Umesha
