you are not getting his requirement. if he could save it into one file, there would be no issue. he has scanned several images and saved them as tif files. each file contains one page. he wants to know if it is possible to recognize and convert them all at once into rtf or any such thing. it is called batch processing. it is not tedious as you said in kurzweil. but I don't know about finereader.

Yes sir, Which OCR did you use? In my knowledge, you should save
multiple pages in one file.  Then, it is easy to recognise hundreds of
pages in Fine Reader as well as Kurzweil! Otherwise, it's a tedious
job!
