You can find out about the conditional formatting and color through JAWS: 1. Use INSERT+V to open adjust JAWS Options dialog. In latest versions of JAWS the name of this dialog is changed. 2. toggle font, color and attribute changes to ON state and also, format conditions detection to ON state. The above steps will help detect the conditional formatting.
