Select the Gmail account from the list of accounts under Email.(probably you need to open it by double clicking it.) In the Pane all settings of mail such as server addresses, username and password is written, Here there is an option named More settings. In More settings Navigate to Advanced Tab. Under Advanced Tab the last option says: Delivery, Check this check box. After this there are two options you need to check the second option here. Hope this helps.
