I checked the URL you mentioned in the below email in IE 8 and found
that the calendar is accessible with the help of a little learning. Of
course, there is no problem with the checkboxes and buttons on the
page. Here are some tips for you to use the calendar icon that appears
next to the read only textbox.

1. Press E to navigate to the read only date textbox. Press DOWN arrow
key to navigate to the graphical icon for the calendar. JAWS reads it
as "link graphic images slash cal".
2. Route JAWS cursor to PC by pressing INSERT+P for laptop keyboard
layout or INSERT+NUMPAD MINUS on desktop keyboard layout.
3. Activate the LEFT mouse button. A table opens at the bottom of the
page. This is the calendar for data entry. Press DOWN arrow to hear
the current month along with current year.
4. If you wish to select a date in the current month then press just
arrow down to it and press ENTER.
5. The following symbols can be used to change the month/year:
a. « or left double angle bracket: 1 year back
b. » or right double angle bracket: 1 year forward
c. unlabelled symbol to the left of Today: 1 month back
d. unlabelled symbol to the right of Today: 1 month forward
6. After changing the month/year to the required values you just need
to arrow down to the date and press ENTER on it. The calendar closes
and the selected date appears in the read only textbox.

Let me know if you have more questions.
