Hi, I think, it has something to do with the "Volume During the Call" option available in the Talks settings. To modify the same, Open Talks settings using Talks key+* and press soft key 1 and choos "Audio Settings". You'd find two options - Volume during the call and Volume outside a call. Generally, when we increase/decrease the Talks volume using Talks+6/5 respectively, it changes the Volume Outside the Call and not the second thing.
