Hi sir, following steps will surely help you. 1 after opening the window of openbook press f4 to start scann. Note: you will have to switch on the power of scanner if it takes any type of external power before opening openbook. 2 in this dialog box choose the option which includes the word via in it. if you will use twain speed may become very slow. 3. as you will press enter on ok butten the scann will start. after completing the scanning the current page it will ask for other page if you want to do so press enter on aquire other page elce press enter on finished aquiring images. 4. bring the file menu and give any name to the file pressing tab will take you to save as type option here choose word document or something similar to that. choose ok and your done. regards
