Dear Rajesh,
here is the complete solution.
1. run the open office application and minimize it. you may close it
too it does not make any difference though it is just to initiate some
aspects.
2. Open the command prompt, navigate to the program folder
within the Open office 3 folder. in the following way, change directory,
EG(Cd program files>open office 3>programs
3. once you are in the
folder type the following command. All that is in the square brackets
with out changing any thing, pls note that there is space before hi fen,
there is a semicolon and inverted commas in the command.
[soffice
-headless -accept="socket,host=127.0.0.1,port=8100;urp;" -
nofirststartwizard]
come out of the command prompt. EXIT
Download
the Folder from Here [1] or the link is
"http://dl.dropbox.com/u/69683716/jodconverter-2.2.rar"
Procedure.
Kindly extract all the contents to D:
there is a file called
Process.vbs
right click it to open it and it opens in notepad.
by
default i have set the search folder to d:
on double clicking the
process.vbs file it automatically lists the .doc files from d:, in all
its folders and sub folders and creates a folder called "Convert" in d:.
here there shall be a file that is automatically formed by the name
kiran.bat which is your batch file populated with the necessary commands
to perform the conversion.
please wait for a little while as it
searches all of the D: for all the files. it might take a couple of
minutes or more as there shall be large no of the .doc files. do not
interrupt the process and it is a sure shot program with no defects.
once this file is formed just double click the populated Kiran.bat and
all the PDF files in the respective folders shall be formed.
Works
100% on XP as there is no security issues with file creations, there are
constraints in running this program in Win 7 due to administrative
privileges. did not work upon it as it was not needed.
Done you shall
find the respective PDf's with respective names in respective folders.
If you have any questions using the same i am always available with
you for the support.
I shall charge for the software once you can use
this and the charge shall be blessings and your friendship.
Warm
Regards,
Kiran S Deshpande
All the changes in file names or drive
names can be done in the convert.vbs
it is convenient to change and
does not damage any system.

the first word "convert.exe" is a constant and the file name and path
name for input and output are dynamically appended to the bat file in
the first phase.

executing it all simultaneously.

courier it to you as the openoffice Installation is 156 MB. with the
release notes and the Installer. Alternatively if you install all 3
components i can upload the program to the dropbox and send the link on
the same.
