The problem with such discussions is that we're not going to reform ourselves that easily. Following the list guidelines and email etiquette ensure smooth functioning of the list. Nowadays, many listers are becoming self-styled moderators and some are even asking why the moderator is silent or not acting. Maybe, the impact of listening to cricket! ;-) being a cellphone user, I feel a bit difficulty in reading forwarded mails which are sent without editing and so containing a number of email addresses and > signs. Also, deviating from the original topics, arguing publicly over controversial remarks, thank-you's, congratulatory messages and greetings on the occasion of festivals. Regardless of all these, we benefit from the experiences and expertise of the learned members. Regards.
