Dear Phen,
If your friend is a screen reader user he/she can use Voiceover practice
within ipad itself. He can experiment every gesture and learn using on
his own.
VoiceOver practice can be accessed at
Settings> General>Accessibility>Voiceover>Voiceover practice.
