Hi, State banks employees and other banks employees of govt. sector must be trained regarding the facilities which are available for visually impaired persons. Recently I have applied for new pin from SBI, but they are telling me that, they need an witness to deliver the same to me. He/she must be an account holder of the same branch. My question is, when I have already declared that, "they have no liability" then why an witness is needed? If concerned friends can run awareness drives, it will definitely help the blind consumers as well as bank employees of various Indian banks. Regards.
