I use an iPhone. iPhone and iPad are exactly the same except that iPad does not have the phone features. Rest is exactly same since both run same Operating System. In terms of accessibility, iPhone is really good, completely built in accessibility, you can purchase it and start using it right away! The VoiceOver is the inbuilt screen reader of Apple and is available in all iPhones starting from 3s. I have an iPhone 4. The only issue i have is that my typing speed is relatively slower on touchscreen compared to a tactile keyboard. I believe Android phones do come with tactile keyboards as well.
