Hi all:
The Railway Board, Indian Railways has reviewed the conditions they laid down
for scribe for exams being conducted for visually impaired candidates to fill
Group D jobs.
The clause of 60% (criteria for scribe) has been withdrawn and the new rule
says that "the scribe can be of any academic discipline if the recruitment is
for general post. If the recruitment is for a specialized post, he/she should
be from a discipline different from that of a candidate."

Our advocacy team learnt about it day before while working on a case on this
matter.
