Few tips on IBPS P O common written exam preparation:

Bank exam preparation is a continuous process and you need to prepare
in a focused way. General Knowledge (GK) is a subject which one
cannot just read and go. Developing GK is a continuous process. Keep
following up different things like daily news (Radio and TV),
newspapers (one financial paper is a must), television talk shows, GK
books, discussions on GK with your friends and referring good
magazines, etc. Refer magazines like Banking Service Chronical and
Pratiyogita Darpan, etc. Keep yourself well updated with the Current
Affairs topics of the past six months. These magazines cover good
summary of banking GK and current topics.

Marketing Aptitude questions are also part of GK which are mainly on
marketing basics. Also study Banking & Finance in India covering
general banking information and current bank rates, happenings,
developments, policies, etc.

For numerical techniques or quantitative aptitude subject learn short
cut method of calculation and practice solving problems. Mental maths
is important for us. You need to by-heart tables, squares and cubes of
numbers, by-heart formulas on distance, time, calendar, clocks, BODMOS
rules, interests, ratios, percent and averages, etc.

For reasoning mainly you need to use common sense and logical
thinking. NSB books which are made in Audio are a good resource to
study but also go thru and solve old PO exam papers.

English language questions are not at a basic level but they are
intermediate to advance level in PO exam. NSB books which are made in
Audio are a very good to improve your knowledge on this subject.

Well, finally your good preparation, confidence, genuine attempt and
bit of luck is what going to give you positive result.
