Subject: [AI] Problem while reading books in mobile
Dear all accessindians,
I need your help to solve one problem.
I am having a nokia e63 mobile with talks 5.3 in it. Both the phone
and talks are working perfectly.
But when I am reading the books in word format I am facing the
following problem
Talks stops automatically after reading a few lines.
I tried the following remedial measures as per the advice of several people.
1. After opening the document change it to the edit mode.
2. Then to read I pressed talks key +down arrow.
Then talks will start reading the document from the first line of the
document. But after reading 4 or 5 lines it stops automatically. At
that time also the cursor will be at the beginning of the document. If
I press down arrow the cursor will move to the second line and it will
read that line.
In short the page is not scrolled upwards while talks is reading the
document. So to read a book I wanted to press down arrow for each line
from the beginning till the end.
I maximized the time out of screen saver and screen back light. Also I
tried changing the cursor mode of talks to words, letters and even
original. Still I am not able to read the document continuously.
The software of the phone is recently updated and the latest version
of talks of is installed after that. Also I am very much sure that
there is no virus infection in the mobile.
Then what could be the problem.
I experienced the same problem in one of my friend’s mobile which is
also nokia e 63, and in one nokia e 71. All these phones are having
the latest genuine talks.
Several people told me that they are reading books in word format in
their mobile comfortably. .Then why it is not possible in my mobile?
Is there any special settings to be done to read books?
If the book is in .txt format it is reading with out any difficulty.
Also I tried “quick reading on mobile” which converts the book in to
simple html format. In that case also it is reading perfectly.
But when the matter of word document comes, whether it is in .doc or
.docx format it is stopping on the way.
I humbly request the expert assistance of the efficient team of access
India to solve this problem
