i too have such questions and problem operating tv from long time am using a tv tuner where i can manually write the name of the channel and rember the chaner but when i do search it all goes away. hopely EPG will solve this problem in future.
also here i like to add most of out of box tv tuner don't have screen reader frendly software so its real troble setuping on our own need to know all shortcuts and so on but its managable. if i am right.
