I tried using the link you provided to login to my linkedin profile,
but I am unable to login to my account after going to the linkedon
page as there are no edit boxes for entering the ID or password. The
links present on the page for linkedin also do not lead to the
linkedin site. How do i log in?

You can logout of Linkedon through it's mobile website, m.linkedon.com
I have found the mobile website to be more JAWS-friendly in comparison to
it's regular website.
