Hai friends, last october, i attended one interview in andhrabank for clerical post. one thing, we must be clear is, interviewers are keen to understand our communication skill only but not deep technical accounting knowledge. my experience is mostly, interviewers ask questions just from what is mentioned in our resume. i've never seen questions asked from accounting basics unless we did a degree in that. i did MBA HR which is mentioned in my resume so that, they asked some basic questions from motivation theory. i enquired one normal person who attended interview in alahabad bank for officer and got job. to him also, questions were asked based on his resume only. so, read some informations about the related bank and just develope the ability to express yourselves and your ideas clearly in simple english thats enough i feel according to my experience. if i'm wrong and accounting related questions are asked to some of us means please excuse me. this is my personal experience and some enquiry details only. i feel, all accounting details are automated through softwares in banks so they are not particular in testing when we are entering fresh. but for promotion, they will test that ability
