Hello Folks, Somedays back we had query regarding labelling graphic in web pages. We have another option to work with. please try at your end. If you are trying to label a graphic on a webpage, pressing control, insert, + G, will give you 2 different results depending on if you have automatic forms mode turned on or are using the virtual cursor. If automatic forms mode is on, control, insert, + G will start the auto graphics labeler. If the virtual cursor is active, control, insert, + G, will bring up a list of graphics.
When label graphics, I route the jaws cursor to the PC cursor first, then double left click with the NumpadSlash key. it also may help if you are out of Forms Mode when you do this. then press the page-up button to go to the top of the page, press the home button to move to the top, left of the page. Use the arrow keys to move to the first toolbar button. You will hear, "Graphic XXX." XXX can indicate any number. Press INSERT+G to open the Graphics Labeler but, don't go back to your PC cursor When the Graphics Labeler is opened, the focus is in the edit field, where you should enter the label for the graphic. It will contain the graphic number. Press the delete key to remove the number then, type the name for your graphic. Press the TAB key to move to the Braille label field. Here you can enter a label for a Braille display. Next press the TAB key to move to a group of radio buttons that will let you determine where you want to save the label, in the application file, default file, or both files. Choose the application file. Press ENTER to activate your graphic label. Note: To edit a graphic label, use the same procedure that you would to create a new graphic label, and just change the name of the label in the Graphics Labeler when it opens. To delete a graphic label, do the same, but delete the name in the Graphics Labeler. if it doesn't work, then, make sure that it is a graphic element and not an object instead. Try the object viewer in Jaws and see, if you can label the object in this way. Hope this helps. Take care. to shed the experience, people are welcomed.
