An organization named national sports club of the blind based in Mumbai used to
conduct table tenis tournamentfor the blind few years back in Mumbai.
The game is played with some adaptation. The racket is held in both the hands
instead of one and it has two handles.
The ball which makes rattling sound and is smaller than the Cricket ball is
pushed under the net instead of over the net as in the case of mainstream game.
To avoid frequentfall of the ball on the flore, wooden strips are fixed at the
side edges of the table.
The rules and regulations of the game are the same.
For more details you may please contact my friend Manohar Jadiar an officer in
I.D.B.I. bank on 9869853468 who was arranging the tournaments.
