Sentiments may obviously be hurt, but if one is going to look at it as an insult to a community by large, then none of us has the right to move a muscle when jokes on the Parcis, Punjabis/Sardars, Tamilians/Annas and Gujjus. For that matter not even if cracked on terrorists, politicians and so on. They are all communities at the end of the day.
It is insensitive for sure, but my thought is a revolt against this is just going to portray every visually impaired individual as someone on whom no fun can be poked at, which according to me is very dangerous. -- "Excuses are reasons only when there are no practical solutions to a problem."
