google chroam is not fully accesible with jaws. however, please make the
following settings in your internet explorer, hope this will help:
Internet Explorer
If you want to use the Internet Explorer toolbar, you should include text
labels on the buttons. To do this go to the Toolbars submenu under the View
menu and choose customize and select Text Labels. There are several advanced
options that should also be changed. Open the Internet Options dialog under
the Tools menu and go to the Advanced page. Under The Accessibility Section,
make sure the following are checked:
· Move system caret with focus/selection changes.
· Always expand all text for images
.
Under the Browsing section, make sure the following are not checked:
· Show channel bar at startup.
· Show friendly URLs.
· Use smooth scrolling.
· Enable page transitions.
In the Accessibility dialog, make sure Ignore Colors Specified On Web Pages
is checked. This dialog opens when you press the Accessibility button in the
General page of the Internet Options dialog.

Subject: [AI] Google chrome and internet explorer
Hi guys,
I dont know why but at my system, i use IE 8 still it crashes many
times and gives me message like "Internet explorer has stopped working
restart the programme or check online or close the programme" Hence, I
switch to google chrome. But in Google Chrome, Jaws does not read the
message body of the emails properly. For e.g. the emails from access
india seem quite organised in IE 8 in the Google chrome it reads
like everything written in the line so it becomes very dificult to
spot the starting of the messageetc.
What can be the solution for :
1. reduce crashing of IE?
2. Can we change the features through settings of Google chrome some
what little simelar to IE?
Thanking in advanced
Regards
Siddhi
