We've been receiving queries on a regular basis where people in government jobs express their desire to get some training to improve their efficiency at work. Section 38 of the PWD Act asks appropriate Governments and local authorities to formulate schemes to ensure employment of PWDs, and such schemes shall also provide for training of such employees. We have however not been able to find any circular/government order in this regard. The detailed circular of DOPT on employment issued in 2005 also doesn't have any such provisions.
