As a ready-made solution, I remember finding online and trying an Excel template somewhere in 2002/2003, which had many sheets for various functions and could give quotes, charts and other information for Indian as well as international stock markets. I do not retain it now and do not remember it all. It was a paid template and I used it for its free demo period.
